It seems Leaky Black hit a growth spurt during the offseason.
Expected to take on a a major role for the Tar Heels this season, the versatile guard spent some time in the weight room this offseason, adding 10 pounds from his listed weight of 185 pounds last season. The sophomore also apparently had a little bit of luck, too, as he's now listed at 6-foot-8.
Overall, Sterling Manley made the biggest change in his body, going from 235 pounds in the 2018-19 season to 250 pounds this season.
Both players were limited by injuries last season, with Black averaging 2.5 points and 2.1 rebounds in 23 games, while Manley played in 18 games averaging 3.5 points and 2.9 rebounds.
