Cardinals vs Texans Best Prop Bets

The Arizona Cardinals and Houston Texans battle each other in Week 11 - here's the top four prop bets to consider.

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals now have Kyler Murray back in the saddle, and the tide of the season projects much friendlier in the desert with their franchise passer healthy moving forward.

Now, Arizona marches into Houston to battle a Texans squad that has surpassed all expectations thus far under rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud.

Cardinals-Texans has the highest over/under of Week 11, but here's four prop bets to consider from experts across the web:

Trey McBride OVER 55.5 receiving yards (-110), 75+ receiving yards (alternate line) (+175)

Jess Root, Cards Wire: "McBride has suddenly become a focal point of the offense. He had 95 or more yards in two of the last three games, including 131 yards last week.

"The Texans are down a few linebackers. Denzel Perryman is suspended, Henry To’oTo’o is out and so is backup Jake Hansen.

"You can ladder both the Over on the standard line and get plus odds on the alternate line."

Cardinals Team Total OVER 21.5

Jason Logan, Covers.com: "If the Cardinals can get back some bodies on the offensive line for Week 11, this will be the strongest this unit has been all season – especially with Murray giving them a massive upgrade at quarterback.

"Houston, on the other hand, has injuries at all levels of the defense and will be without starting LB Denzel Perryman for three games due to a dirty helmet hit in Week 10. That potentially takes away two of the Texans' top three tacklers if fellow LB Henry To'oTo'o can’t clear concussion protocols.

"Arizona’s team total sits at 21.5 points (Over -102), which feels much too short considering the instant impact Murray had last week, the health of Arizona’s top weapons, and Houston hemorrhaging points the past two weeks."

Kyler Murray OVER 238.5 Passing Yards

Kody Malstrom, Lineups.com: "It was expected that Murray would show some form of rust after a long layoff as he rehabbed his injury. His 249-yard performance was especially eye opening in his first game back, now expected to only improve as he gets more play time under his belt as well as shredding a below average Texans coverage unit.

"While the Texans have been a welcoming surprise for their immediate turn around, their secondary has still posed as an issue. As of writing, the Texans secondary currently ranks 20th in Def Pass DVOA, 25th in Def Pass EPA, 16th in Def Pass Success Rate, and 16th in Def Adjusted Sack Rate. Their elite ranking in Pressure Rate is also expected to dip back to more league average as their front seven deals with injuries.

"Derek Stingley Jr is expected to give the Texans secondary a boost in production, yet he is also rounding back into form after an injury. Jimmie Ward is also currently listed as questionable, potentially being a big loss in their back end if he is not able to give it a go. That may put the Texans linebackers in a poor position as they have to decide between helping in coverage or anchoring on an island to crash down on Murray’s running ability, creating gaps in coverage."

Marquise Brown ANYTIME TD Scorer

BettingPros.com: "The return of Kyler Murray lived up to the hype as the Cardinals were able to defeat the Falcons at home last week. Kyler did not have a huge passing game and that resulted in the worst outing of the year for Marquise Brown. I do not expect that to continue as this duo was extremely productive last season when they were healthy.

"They should be able to reconnect this week in the highest total game of the week (48.5) against the breakout Texans team. Over the last four weeks, the Texans are allowing the fifth most yards to opposing WR’s and the total points scored in their games during that span averages 53.7."
