Chargers Lose Out on Top Running Back Prospect in The 2023 NFL Draft
The hopes and dreams of Charger fans wanting their team to select Texas running back Bijan Robinson can flush that down the toilet.
Robinson will make his way to the Atlanta Falcons as he was selected with the 8th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
The 21-year-old will now join the young offensive weapons that are Drake London and Kyle Pitts.
Robinson was considered by many as the best running back in the class and was treated as such as he was the first RB off the board. The Chargers would have loved a running back like Bijan, as he is the complete package for his position.
Whether the Bolts keep Austin Ekeler or not, they still need another running back in their depth chart. The loss of Robinson doesn't change that, so we'll see what the Chargers do in that case.
