It's only a matter of time now, Charger fans. We're four days away from the first day of the NFL Draft, and your Bolts hold the 21st overall pick... at the moment.

Many experts and NFL pundits believe general manager Tom Telesco will trade down and receive a couple of other picks in return. If he does, this will be the first time in his tenure to ever trade down in his 11 seasons as GM. Chargers Wire writer Gavino Borquez believes Telesco will do just that and he has the Bolts taking a pass catcher from the ACC.

Round 1, No. 30 (Via Eagles), WR Josh Downs, North Carolina

The Chargers trading back is starting to generate some traction so in this simulation the Eagles traded up nine spots from the No. 30 overall selection to select Alabama safety Brian Branch.

To kick things off, the Chargers injected a much-needed dynamic element into the wide receiver room with the selection of Downs.

Josh Downs is a junior from Georgia and has spent his entire college career in North Carolina as a Tar Heel. Downs had an impressive junior season as he caught 94 passes for 1,029 yards while putting the ball in the end zone 11 times. The 21-year-old caught 72% of contested catches and tallied 754 yards after the catch, which was the third most in the country.

According to NFL Draft Buzz, Josh is projected to go in the second round and is ranked sixth in the wide receiver position.
