Chargers Highlights: Bolts Roll Past Chicago Bears for Third Win

Chargers pick up a much-needed victory to get back on the winning column

Your Los Angeles Chargers improve to 3-4 after their dominant win against the Chicago Bears at Sofi Stadium, 30-13.

The Bolts dominated all facets of the game, outgaining the Bears in total yards, turnovers, first downs, and time of possession. The Bolts came out the gate hot, getting their best offensive weapon, running back Austin Ekeler, going with a touchdown pass from the QB1 in Justin Herbert.

The Bolts kept the scoring festivities going in the first quarter just before it ended, getting the mid-season addition, wide receiver Simi Fehoko in the end zone.

That reception was Fehoko's only reception of the game, but it counted for six, and that's all that matters.

The barrage paused for a bit heading into the second quarter; however, just before the game headed into halftime, Herbert decided to invite tight end Donald Parham Jr. to the touchdown party with an 11-yard pass.

That Parham touchdown was his third of the season, tying his career high.

The Chargers went without a touchdown in the second half, something they've struggled to do in 2023, but luckily they didn't need it. Cameron Dicker took care of business on the field goal department, going a perfect 3/3, with his longest coming from 53 yards.

The QB was immaculate as he always is, more times than not, completing 31 of his 40 passes for 298 yards, three touchdowns, and a rating of 122.7.

Ekeler didn't have the most impressive stats, but he found the endzone for the first time since his return, and it was great to see him contributing in a big way.

It was a must-win for the Bolts, and they heard the noise as they took care of business and will now shift their focus to the New York Jets for another prime-time matchup, this time on Monday Night.
